The name OERUM comes from the Latin word ’Aurum’ meaning Gold. We wouldn’t put it in our name if we weren’t serious about it. The ’OE’ comes from the letter ’Ø’ in the Danish alphabet, paying homage to our Founders roots.
As ecology and the environment become critical aspects of modern luxury, OERUM stands for ethical, precious and effortless jewellery; faithful to a sustainable view of life. Our passion goes beyond jewellery as we dream about being able to create moments of joy, inspire bonds and strengthen the relationship you have with your jewellery.

Each piece is handmade in the quaint town of Córdoba, Spain by our skilled artisans, pouring three generations of passion and experience into each individual item.
Fundamentally we believe in high standards and focus on what really matters; durable and sustainable materials, built for every day wear and tear, fair pricing, ethical production and tangible giving for an equally sparkling conscience.
Forever inspired by nature and all our designs begin as pencil – our Founder Tamasine sketches every little detail inspired from everyday life to create fine jewellery with a story. Passionate and in awe of the world around us; inspired by materials and nature meant exploring the synergy between the two, the reflection of one on the other.
All our designs are made to withstand whatever life throws your way. They are made to last a lifetime, to tell a story, to hold a memory so you can pass it down to your children, and their children, and maybe theirs if they’re lucky. That’s what’s so special about gold. It can also be melted down and reused as many times as you like and it will never lose its worth or value, see it as an investment. Gold mined today is the same as gold mined 100 years ago.
We only use materials and methods that keep our conscience clear. 100% recycled 18k gold, never plated, filled or vermeil, always through-and-through solid gold.
Ethically sourced and responsibly made; faithful to a sustainable view of life is not only our motto, it is our method. There are a lot of ugly practices in the jewellery industry which is why we decided to bypass this and use 100% recycled gold so we can all go to sleep at night with the clearest conscience and feel good about the jewellery we wear on a daily basis.
Fine jewellery deserves fair prices and so do you. We love gold, but not the insane retail markups you see so in order to give you the best of both we keep as many of our operations as we can in house or local, use recycled materials and produce pieces on a made-to-order basis to avoid unnecessary inventory. We work as hard as you do to make the most of every cent.
Originating from Denmark and further raised in Tanzania, the Netherlands, Singapore, United Kingdom and Dubai, Tamasine is an international individual not afraid to take on new challenges.

Passionate and in awe of the world around us; Tamasine is inspired by raw materials and the beauty of nature which meant exploring the synergy between the two, the reflection of one on the other. From the start, being committed to using only solid gold in our designs just felt natural. Some ideas sneak up on you as if they were always meant to be, and this was one of them.
Tamasine is an aesthete at heart and an allround creative with a background in both art & interior design. And while she still practices these from time to time, Tamasine always had the entrepreneurial urge to live through the life cycle of a company, creating the brand identity and culture from the ground up, and so OERUM was born. Her new found passion for Fine Jewellery meant she could still exercise her love for detail oriented design and craftsmanship but on a much smaller scale. And the rest is history.
Jewellery is a very personal notion and it is so much more than a fashion accessory; it is our memories cast in metal (a precious one at that) that tell a story to last a lifetime.
The idea behind OERUM originally came to life in the summer of 2016 when our Founder, Tamasine was proposed to and received her first ’real’ piece of jewellery. To this date, her engagement ring holds so much value in the sheer story and meaning behind it; the memories it holds of that day and the way it makes her feel every time shes looks at it. The seed was planted, as this was a feeling she wanted to give others the opportunity to experience and right there, she realised that this is actually what jewellery is all about.
These are the reasons that drive our mission to make all of you more conscious about the jewellery that becomes a part of you – It is not about buying goods or services but a symbolism of the bonds you create, the stories they hold and the magic they bring.

All our jewellery is made from 100% recycled 18k gold which we are very proud of. And while nearly all of our packaging uses recycled materials, there is room for improvement. We are committed to growing that number and are constantly improving our methods to reach our goal of being completely sustainable in all areas of our business.
